Summary

The study looks at sexual assault and misconduct at many different universities across the nation. This study provides decent statics not only about the rate at which sexual misconducted occurs, but students’ knowledge on the issue and resources they have available.

Policy Implications

Since this is a nationwide study, it shows that the issue of sexual assault is not isolated to one school or one state, but that there is a sort of culture around the issue that needs to be addressed. Not only must there be clearer laws to protect students, but access to information is also a key point to helping fix this issue.
