Gov. Jim Blanchard & Gov. John Engler

James Blanchard photoGov. Jim Blanchard served two terms as Michigan Governor and four terms in the U.S. Congress. Recognized for his work to attract international trade to Michigan, Blanchard was named Ambassador to Canada in 1993. He now serves as Co-Chair of the Government Affairs Practice Group for the global law firm DLA Piper. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Chrysler Group LLC. He is a Michigan State University graduate.

John Engler photoGov. John Engler served three terms as Michigan Governor and 20 years in the Michigan Legislature, including seven years as Senate Majority Leader. He now is the nation's leading advocate for U.S. manufacturers as President of the National Association of Manufacturers representing industry in all 50 states. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Delta Airlines. He is a Michigan State University graduate.

I-96 West to Newburgh Road (173A). Follow Schoolcraft Service Drive for 1/2 mile The Laurel Manor is on the right hand side.

From Grand Rapids/Lansing:
I-96 East to I-275 South to I-96 East (Detroit) to Newburgh/Levan Road (173). Immediately after exiting, there is an overpass (I-96 West), turn left to cross freeway, turn left onto the Schoolcraft Service Drive (west). Follow 1/2 mile. Laurel Manor is on the right.

The ballroom is located nearest the northeast (main) entrance of Laurel Manor.

Travel I-96 West to I-196 West.
