compared to five years prior. A number of these were particularly incorporated to
compare the responses of Hispanic/Latino respondents to those of other Michigan
residents. For this purpose, SOSS-43 included a supplemental sample targeting
Hispanics/Latinos in Michigan. |

Core questions asked respondents to rate the performance of President George Bush and Gov. Jennifer Granholm. The threat of terrorism and civil liberties were also a part of this season’s survey. |
