Urban
Policy Choices
for Michigan Leaders
The Institute for Public Policy and Social Research is partnering
with the Urban Affairs Programs
(UAP) to provide scholarly research on urban policy issues. IPPSR
and UAP commissioned eight policy papers. They are presented below
in briefing paper format. The papers is also available along with
an introductory chapter, in book form. The book was published by
the MSU Press and is available for order
online.
Both the papers and the book were developed for use by Michigan's
state and local policymakers and others involved in the policy process
including candidates and voters. They present balanced and thoughtful
information on truly salient issues.
The papers are being funded by a generous donation from the Applied
Public Policy Research Program allocated by the State of Michigan
to provide expertise for Michigan's policymaking community. For
more information, please contact IPPSR's AnnMarie
Schneider.
