More on the Romanian Exchange

Images from Commemorative Event, May 2005

Marking the ten-year anniversary of the Romanian Leadership Exchange, a delegation of Romanian governmental and university leaders recently visited campus to review the partnership and explore ways of expanding the program both on and off the respective university campuses. During the visit, there was an announcement of a city-to-city partnership between East Lansing, Michigan and Cluj-Napoca Romania, home of Babes-Bolyai University. The program was originally and continues to be administered and directed by MSU’s Institute for Public Policy and Social Research (IPPSR) as the international component to its policy focused leadership programs. Below are a narrated sample of images from that event.

Neither Baba’s know of any family relationship between the two of them. Dean Catalin Baba came to MSU to commemorate and renew a ten-year leadership exchange involving faculty and students between the two universities.
