Products

The Office for Survey Research (OSR) at Michigan State University's Institute for Public Policy and Social Research (IPPSR) commonly delivers products on diskettes or by electronic transfer across the Internet. OSR also delivers products to clients via ZIP and CD-ROM.

Although projects vary based on client specification, typically OSR produces the following items for clients:
• Copy of Questionnaire Utilized
• Electronic ASCII Data File with Coded Interview/Questionnaire Responses
• Command Syntax Electronic File (For reading the data with SPSS, SAS, or STATA)
• Analysis and Files in SPSS, SAS, and Excel Formats
• Electronic or Paper Codebook with Questions, Labels, Coded values
• Written Summary of Results with Tables, Charts, Description of Study Procedure
