Combes comments on Canada/U.S. Relations Forums

Gloria Combes“CN has a very generous corporate donation policy, and we like very much to ensure that the donations we make have a long term impact,” said Gloria Combes of her decision to invest in an on-going forum series intended to build strong relations between Canada and the United States at Michigan State University. “MSU certainly came to mind, not only because of its wonderful Canadian Studies program … also because there is a training program for new legislators at MSU, so it’s just a perfect fit.”

Gloria Combes is Director of U.S. Government Affairs for Canadian National Railway Company (CN).  She has been instrumental in the creation and success of the CN Forum here at MSU.  In an interview with the Institute for Public Policy and Social Research, Combes describes the importance of U.S. and Canadian relations, the future of the forum and why the two are so important.
