Roger Hamlin, Ph.D.
Dr. Hamlin is Professor of Urban Planning and Public Administration at Michigan State University. He directs several projects at the Institute for Public Policy and Social Research and Urban Collaborators at Michigan State University. He was previously Associate Director of IPPSR. Harry Perlstadt, Ph.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Perlstadt is Professor of Sociology and director of the Program in Bioethics, Humanities and Society. He holds an adjunct appointment with the Institute for Public Policy and Social Research. His area of expertise is evaluation research design and he has conducted evaluations for a variety of agencies including the W K Kellogg Foundation, DHSS Health Research Services Administration, Centers for Disease Control, the Michigan Department of Public Health, and the World Health Organization. Programs evaluated include health education, HIV-AIDS training and utilization programs, screening for blood lead levels, and environmental health action plans. He is also interested in human research protections and how Institutional Review Boards and HIPAA regulations affect data gathering and clinical trials. He uses a variety of methods including survey research, on site

Mark Wilson, Ph.D.
Dr. Wilson is Associate Professor of Urban and Regional Planning at
Michigan State University and a research economist with the Institute
for Public Policy and Social Research. Among his projects at IPPSR are Nonprofit Michigan which investigates the scale, structure, and contribution of Michigan's nonprofit sector; E*Space: The Electronic Space Project which addresses the social impact of the Internet; and
